Questions: What do you think Judy means when she tells Jess and Leslie that she is stuck?
What is the "flaw" that Jess recognizes in his own character and doesn't like?
Vocabulary: earnest, elements, conspiring, mournfully, confine, sodden, dignity,
sporadically, vanquished, perceive, discern, plodding, gap
Enrichment: Most people have experienced fear in their lives. Make a list of ten things
that you are afraid of placing the things you fear most at the top of your list.
Compare your fears with those of your classmates. Discuss the potential of
fear to both help you and hinder you.
Judy meant that she was stuck because she didn't know what to write and then she figured out what to write. I think that Jess's flaw is talking too much because Leslie is almost always telling him to be quiet.

ReplyDeleteI think that when Judy is stuck means she doesn't know what to write about but then she figures out what to write about.I think Jess's flaw is him talking too much and being afraid because Jess is scared about swinging across the rope.Jess flaw is also talking too much about stuff and Leslie either tells Jess to be quiet or she ignores him.RYNE

ReplyDeleteJess's flaw that he recognizes is that he has no guts so hes always afraid of things. Like when he crossed the lake he was scared. He wants to tell Leslie but hes to scared to.- Aliya
