Chapter 11

Questions: Why does Jess start running when he hears the "news". What do you think he is running
                    from?
                    Do you think Jess could have done anything to prevent Leslie's death? If so, what?

Enrichment: To be done with a partner: Pretend that you are going to interview one of the characters from your book. Each partner should choose a role (Interviewer or Character) Make up a list of questions that you would like to ask, and make sure your partner is able to answer these questions as if they were that character. Video your interview.

  3. Jess starts running when he hears the news to go to Terebithia to see if Leslie is actually dead or not.
    Jess could've prevented Leslie's death if he had asked Ms. Edmunds if Leslie could go to Washington to see the art galleries wit them.

    Jess is running away from his dad's pickup truck.Jess's dad wants Jess comeback to the house because Leslie really is dead.

    To prevent Leslie's death Jess could have brought Leslie with him.
